About the Artist
Thank you for visiting my online art gallery
I am a painter living and working in the Hudson Valley region of New York, on the outskirts of Manhattan. My passion is creating plein air landscapes and colorful still life paintings using traditional oil painting techniques, but with a contemporary twist on composition. Recently I have been making smaller paintings and illustrations using gouache on fine art paper. While I am a busy wife, mother, grandmother, and real estate agent, I try to create art every day.

At the request of one of my children, I have started experimenting with abstract paintings. This is a stretch for me but I find the process both liberating and relaxing.
Also outside my comfort zone, I have begun working on smaller paintings and illustrations using gouache on paper.
